Over 15,000 candidates have appeared for CLAT 2009. Over 95% of the candidates are under graduates. The total number of seats available is 1102. According to TOI sources, many candidates felt that the exam was very easy and the cutoff is likely to go up. Legal Aptitude section was replaced by 45 Legal GK section (with 45 questions). CLAT 2009 results will be published by June 15, 2009.
Last year the highest marks scored was 157 out of 200. Ths year the highest score is likely to be between 162 to 165. The different sections and number of questions in CLAT 2009 are Legal (45), English (40), Logical Reasoning (45), GL (50) and Maths (20). According to a Law Entrance Poll, GK questions were tougher that expected.
